About KnowledgeDose

KnowledgeDose strives to help support healthcare professionals, trainees and university students in their everyday practices, studies and professional development. We create and share clinical content that is accessible, engaging and concise. Our main goal is to provide our visitors with simplified, but useful thorough doses of learning resources on topics focussing around the clinical practice of a healthcare professional.

KnowledgeDose was founded in 2018 by Saima Chaudhry, who is a pharmacist that has a passion for creating and sharing clinical/pharmacy knowledge digitally with the healthcare community. She is also the founder of two other websites, ResourceClinical and ResourcePharm; during 2019, ResourceClinical merged with KnowledgeDose. ResourceClinical was an extensive hand-picked directory containing clinical medicine and drug information links for healthcare professionals. ResourcePharm is a one-stop pharmacy resource portal for pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists.

Her desire to share clinical/pharmacy knowledge has come from previously working in hospital pharmacy. She experienced first-hand how doctors, pharmacists and nurses continually shared their clinical knowledge, expertise and experiences with each other. This contributed to better practices in medicine, pharmacy and nursing.
